We are spoilt for choice with top restaurants in Sydney yet knowing where to book a table for a business meeting, based on the occasion, can be surprisingly tricky!

As Sydney returns to life (yay!), we’ve updated our little black book with some of our new favourite restaurants suitable for every occasion:

Perfect for private celebrations or larger engagements, a’Mare boasts three elegant private dining rooms.

Top Tip - Order the pesto, they make it fresh at your table.

Woodcut at Crown Sydney

A unique dining experience that celebrates Australian produce and cooking with wood, charcoal and steam at The Crown Sydney.

Top Tip - You can book the Waterview Terrace for Private Dining.

Berts by Merivale

A light-filled bar and brasserie overlooking Pittwater and the grounds of The Newport.

Top Tip - Ask to sit in the lounge area for cocktails before being seated at your table.

Lucky Kwong

A canteen-style lunch-only restaurant by celebrity chef Kylie Kwong that serves her signature Australian-Cantonese food.

Top Tip - They don't take bookings so get in early for a relaxed canteen style lunch.

Bistrot 916

This neo-French bistro is run by three of Sydney's most exciting young hospitality players and its interiors bring a cool, understated elegance.

Top Tip - This fresh take on French Dinning is perfect for the hard-to-impress foodie.

Bar Totti's

Smack bang in the heart of Sydney's CBD, Bar Totti's is the perfect place for a casual wine and bite to eat.

Top Tip - Great for after work aperitifs.

Margaret

Neil Perry's new restaurant in Double Bay. This is one lux-local eatery you must try.

Top Tip - Book now or you'll never get in!

The Langham

A lovely spot for a more intimate event, famed as the birthplace of the traditional Afternoon Tea.

Top Tip - Great for high tea with bubbles.

Manly Pavillion

Newly purchased by The Boathouse Group with a face lift on the horizon, this venue with views to Sydney Heads will be the place to party early 2022.

Top Tip - Catch the Ferry from Circular Quay for a long afternoon in the sun.

Haco

Japanese like you've never seen at this new Surry Hills restaurant.

Top Tip - Sit at the centrepiece wraparound counter and order from a constantly shifting menu.

And, finally always remember to thank the maître d’, this will assist in building a relationship which can help you secure a table on short notice in the future.

We hope you enjoy!!
