The Hidden Cost of Doing It All: Why CEOs Need the Right Support

I've been having a lot of the same conversations lately with CEOs and business leaders about their lack of time.

They're spending their days in back-to-back meetings, trying to focus on strategy, lead their teams and grow their businesses, while also juggling tasks that should really sit with an Executive Assistant or administrative support.

Things like:

• Booking travel

• Coordinating meetings

• Chasing information

• Managing their inbox

• Following up actions

• Keeping projects moving

My response is often the same:

"Why are you doing that?"

Not because those tasks aren't important. They absolutely are. But they don't necessarily need to be done by the CEO.

Too often, leaders are the bottleneck, not because they lack capability, but because they're spending valuable time on tasks that could be delegated to someone else.

The challenge is that many don't realise how much this is costing them.

Not just in productivity, but in delayed decisions, missed opportunities and the ability to focus on the bigger picture.

If this sounds familiar, it may be worth taking a closer look at how your time is being spent and whether you have the right support structure around you.

Sometimes small changes can create significant capacity.
