TWSG Black Book: Top restaurants for every occasion

We are spoilt for choice with top restaurants in Sydney, yet knowing where to book a table for a business meeting, based on the occasion, can be surprisingly tricky!

To help make your next decision as fast as your WPM, The Well-Suited Group is opening its Little Black Book to share our top restaurant recommendations.

Securing a great table at the right venue can be the difference between your boss signing a new client or getting an important business deal across the line.

A top EA understands the purpose of the business meeting and will choose the venue, menu and drinks list accordingly.

Note : Some of our favourites such as Spice Temple, Barangaroo House and Bennelong remain closed from lockdown - but with more venues reopening each week, it won’t be long before they’re taking bookings again.

TWSG’s top restaurant recommendations for every occasion are:

For your ears only

Sensitive matters require the privacy and discreet service of a private dining room. Check out:

Rockpool Bar & Grill – Over 3,000 wines accompany a menu featuring wood-fired meats and seafood. Choose ‘The Board Room’ for up to eight guests or The Bligh for over 20 with a set menu. tel. 8099 7077

Azuma – A separate private dining room sits up to 40 people, serving authentic Japanese cuisine. tel. 9222 9960

Beppis – Traditional Italian dining with a host of private spaces for 6, 8, 10 or 32 guests. tel. 9360 4558

Finally, when making your reservation be sure you take into account the rest of the day’s events in your executive’s diary.  If you can avoid additional time commuting to and from lunch, this will allow more time for discussion.

And always remember to thank the maître’d, this will assist in building a relationship which can help you secure a table on short notice in the future.

Best,

Lauren
